Activity 1 – Framework
For your first activity, I would like you to use the Framework and start to flesh out a strategy.
Cost per click x number of website visitors required £2.00 X 500 website visitors = £1000.
Conversion rates estimate:
E-commerce = 1% to 3%
Lead generation = 5% to 10%
Complete the next 3 steps of the framework. Choose a campaign type, a bidding strategy and create an ad group. Make a keyword list for just 1 ad group and include an estimated CPC and the number of monthly searches.
Search for your competitors…
What are they doing? Do they even advertise on Google Ads? What does the ad say? How can you separate yourself from them and stand out?
Activity 4 – Create an ad
Let’s craft your first ad. Use this link https://www.karooya.com/expanded-text-ad-preview-tool you can create a test ad without the need for Google Ads and it will ensure you keep within the character limits too!
Choose an Ad Group, and look at the keywords within the Ad Group.
Remember the ad needs to best match those keywords to ensure it’s relevant to the searcher! Once your ad looks good and you don’t feel like you can do much more to make it grab attention and get the click take a screenshot to upload to us. Then it’s time to move on to the next ad for that Ad Group
Remember it’s best practice to have two ads per Ad Group, even the order or a word can heavily impact performance – you truly never know which one will perform the best once it’s live! Create two options and screenshot them both, use the uploader to send them to us.
