We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • To deliver training.
  • Internal record keeping.
  • We share data with the DfE and Lancashire Skills Hub to monitor learner progress.
  • We may use the information to improve our services.
  • We may periodically send promotional emails about new courses, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided. You may opt out of these at any time.
  • We may use the information to customise the website according to your interests.

If you believe that the information, we hold for you is incorrect then you can contact us at any time to update it.

 

Online lesson recording

We automatically record all of our online lessons so that current learners can catch up on anything they miss or check their learning and retention. We endeavour not to show learner’s images in the recordings, but we can’t guarantee that they will never be recorded.

To balance the needs of our learners we:

  • Provide leaners the option of watching their cohort’s previous lessons.
  • Recording links will only be sent to current learners and used for Quality Assurance purposes.
  • Learners can not download lesson recordings.
  • All lesson recordings will be deleted one month after the cohort ends.

 

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.


How we use cookies

This privacy notice explains how we collect and use your personal information for the purposes of evaluating the Employer Led Training Initiatives/Skills Bootcamps. This data is being collected by the DfE for the National Skills Fund. For the purposes of relevant data protection legislation, the Department for Education (DfE) is the data controller for personal information processed for this research. Skills Bootcamps Whistleblowing and Complaints Procedure
